Data of the CSF Abeta-42 biomarker were presented again at AAN: it provided an AUC measurement of 0.913, an AD sensitivity for detection score of 96.4%, and a negative predictive value of 95.2% at a cutoff CSF Abeta-42 concentration of 192pg/ml with an overall accuracy of 87% for the diagnostic test.

This doesn’t sound good enough to be a commercial diagnostic for use in the general populace. Am I missing something?
