Agree. When I thought I was gonna be changing jobs very shortly I almost called my 401k lady and told her to sell all my holdings and put me in cash when the dow broke 8000 but since then I have enjoyed another 10% profit so being I'm not leaving imminently (need to finish national paramedic certification plus things on my dept starting to look a little more stable) I'm going to "let it ride" unless it gets near 8000 again if it goes to that I will go to cash until I figure out the job situation. Gonna freeze my pension and take the guaranteed money if I change dept's for sure though but my pension is not market related in anyway (thank god). Sounds like things are well with you gettin them 48's MO MONEY heh heh. I actually had a 20hr overtime shift the other day. Some of the new guys are testing with other depts if we lose more medics to other depts they will have to hireback overtime.
