HI Osprey, the topic was Putin and the Saudi`s, not third world nations. See Zeev`s post that I responded to. Russia is hardly a third world nation. They were the first in space with Sputnik. The Onyx missle they make today is nothing to sneeze at. I agree with you that some third world nations will suffer a lot more then the U.S. in world wide recession. Some places in third world nations won`t change that much. I am currently making bids on land in a region that wont be affected much by what happens to the price of oil. The Cows will give milk. The chickens will lays eggs.

Russia and Saudi Arabia are another ball of wax all together.
