No matter what you say, a flat tax is regressive. I agree that big government is universally bad, but there is no connection between big government and the type of tax structure we have. Big government wants more taxes no matter how it gets them. I don't see how a flat tax would "provide restraint." If you care to explain that one, I am willing to be convinced, but . . . I don't see it.
