I realize that news came out just before the open and it greatly helped the price of BAC.

I was just stating that the direction of the day is not established in the pre-market and it shouldn't scare investors into selling a stock.

I just had a feeling that by noon BAC would be lookin' good and that was before I saw that news you posted.
