Lumigan comes as a 2.5, 5.0 , and 7.5 ml bottle. Depending on the insurance and the dosing (almost always q daily) the co-pay may be the same.

Latisse comes in a 3ml bottle with an approx retail price of $150/bottle. The retail price for a 2.5 bottle of Lumigan ia approx $84/ bottle. Could someone buy bulk of Limigan and repackage as Latisse?? I don't think so.

I'm sure there will be an occasional patient who will request a doc to write scripts for Lumigan when in fact the patient does not have glaucoma. I know of no docs who would want to put their medical license in jeopardy for insurance fraud.
