The council had a meeting again and ECCI et al was not there. Nothing mentioned about them at all. As far as I know they( ECCI) were not at this time seeking funds through the Empowerment zone as per one of their guys. I asked the question what would be the difference if they are changing their quest for money by going to the city which he told me does not have the funds to do anyway at this time and if they did ,would be a much harder loan or bond to fund as it would be hard to find investors to buy these bonds from the city with ECCI. He couldn't come up with an answer either. It seems they are also after the futuro bonds. It is all confusing at this point. I heard of no meeting with the city attorney and I don't know how credable the info about this.
Right now the last thing the City Council didtwo weeks ago regarding ECCI was to table it based on what happened. If a YES or NO was demanded it would have been NO at that time based on the presentation and what they were asking for then.
