Idiot mechanics, the aircraft is far smarter than they are...The aircraft is capabable of understanding what is going on and the configuration at the time was for takeoff. The PLA or Power Lever Angle sends a signal to the FMC and it thinks the aircraft wants to take off..

I airlined to Geneva overnight and went through Paris....I thought I would see an A-380...none to be found, I think they are a myth..
