Bruce, not for this board but wife's newly installed $257 XP Home edition has pleased her. Tech. was able to save and transfer all of her pictures, WebShot collection, shortcuts and downloads to her games and even the icons on her desktop were as before. This might be a normal set up but regardless she is pleased. It is not an update from a 98, but a complete new system and we have CD and verification paperwork. A son who works locally her in St. Louis area says they can buy XP Home for about $100 a pop. Surprised it was $199 on Amazon.
