What does this PR prove? (8/05/04)


In my opinion, it proves that UC is unfolding a simple, yet ingenious plan. First, he finds a small mining company that has a unique collection of unproven resources. Second, he undertakes a complete inventory of how the company is run and what they own. Third, he negotiates a deal to provide the specialized services that most micro cap companies are forced ignore (e.g., accounting, legal, exploration, marketing, etc.).

In my opinion, it makes perfect sense for the partners to join up with Urban because they will get the following benefits:

*the exploration technology that the they could never afford on their own (state of the art aerial surveys, etc.).

*the use of the newest technology will also allow project valuation numbers to be made with much more precision (we'll know what we're buying before we buy it). It will also allow for the efficient maintenance of claims (buy the best claims and allow the poorer claims to lapse).

*the protection of some of the best legal minds (Roger Glenn & Co.).

*the "CMKX extreme marketing machine" which will be used to plan guerilla marketing attacks aimed at specific targets (private investors, institutional investors, potential partners, Shorty, etc.).

*the access to money that will expand exponentially by using the Federation's contacts (minimal dilution to the partners shareholders)

*the autonomy to continue to operate as ongoing concerns (we own less than 50%). This keeps the entrepreneurial spirit alive (out of the box thinking encouraged -- we'd hate to stifle Rendell Williams creativity).

*the access to the "brain power" of the Federation will allow use of the best engineers, geologists, surveyors, accountants and a multitude of other service professionals. (all at wholesale prices)

*the talent to put together a presentation that will blow the socks off an institutional investor.

*the ability to draw upon each others talents, contacts and even equipment. We've already seen examples of this.

*the ability to negotiate the purchase of everything from paper clips to drill rigs.

*the ability to attract the most creative employees.

*the attention of big board companies.

*the use of an honest and credible transfer company (Desert Stock Transfer Co.?).


In summary, apply economies of scale and synergy to all Urban has done, is doing and will do, and you will then know where we are going.
