I have been reading Ord's comments for about a year, and I've found his volume analysis has been quite accurate. You can pretty much break it down to this:

If a major level is tested or slightly breached, and volume increases by 8% or so, price should eventually seek support/resistance beyond that level that was breached.

Similarly, if a level is tested or slightly breached, and volume shrinks by 8% or so, price should reverse and test the previous level that repelled price.

It's really fairly simple, but also fairly effective.
