O/T cy, yup, I've had the MDX now for about a year. It's been the perfect vehicle for me. I use it for our family and for business.

It's also nice for weekend trips to get stuff for our house we just moved into. We used it in our move too, as we only ventured about a half mile away.

It's got 12,000 miles on it, and I've spent $35 on maintenance. There were no factory defects, and one recall (it was so minor I haven't bothered to bring it in yet. I think a microscopic carpet fiber was double stitched or something).

The only surprise is the low fuel economy in the city for a
V-6. I get about 13.9MPG in the city only (20 on the highway), and it needs premium or the octane sensor kicks down the performance.

I really like the roomy interior with the relatively small wheelbase. The turning circle is surpringly small. Since it's an SUV based upon a minivan platform, it has the ride of a mini-van as well as some of the attributes of a truck. My back likes the level of the deck in the rear for pulling stuff out.

The MDX radio antenna is one of the best ones on any vehicle. Something that simple is certainly appreciated when moving between cities. For those who like stereos, I've often felt like the sub-woofers in this thing could literally cave in my chest. I like my ears, so I don't air out the stereo at the jet-engine decibel range too much.

Anyway, probably more rambling than you expected. It's a great ride, and I recommend it highly.
