Apple builds the computer with an intel chip in it but then does sell the computer - thus, in that sense, re-selling the intel chip because it is part of the price.

Apple does not resell Intel microprocessors in an unmodified form—it incorporates them into its own product. Does Intel consider Apple a distributor or a customer? The latter, obviously.
