Im sorry, but I disagree with this post entirely.

THE FDIC ONLY works if the people TRUST them! Thats the WHOLE point. They exist to provide confidence to you and I that our money is safe! If you dont TRUST the FDIC, then why should YOU or ANYONE believe their money is truly safe?! Especially NOW!?

Question:
If the FDIC were gone TOMORROW....do you think there would be a series of runs on our banks by people who were RELYING on that "I" in FDIC???? You Betcha! People would be hording! Stashing cash in their walls again.

Someone missed the entire point of the FDIC.
