Deep Down S-1 Registration Declared Effective

"Deep Down, Inc. (DPDW) today announced that its registration statement on Form S-1, registering approximately 57 million shares of its common stock, was declared effective by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on April 16, 2009. The Form S-1 registers shares sold in a $40 million private placement offering that closed on June 5, 2008.
