Will this be the week of redemption for ECCI?
Tuesday should be real interesting! If nothing else, approval of ECCI's relocation plan will give us insight into a third party analysis of ECCI's financial data and management team appraisal. The various governmental entities will have to know ECCI much better than us to trust Federal Stimulus money and local bond money, in part, to ECCI. In short, the Crystal City Council is much more likely to know if ECCI is for real than we shareholders do. And that is a SHAME. But ECCI's current office is in Crystal City and Royis Ward lives there. The local officials personally know ECCI and Mr. Ward, et. al. Also, a couple of ECCI PR's back, there was mention of financial papers having to be submitted to the City Council.
So, I will take what ever local Texas intelligence data I can get for this investment of mine. The local boyz want jobs real bad, and they have Federal Green Jobs Program money to spend from Obama and their own bond money too- not that they can afford the interest payments on the bonds unless there is real economic development on the offing.
If nothing else, next week will reveal if the local government folks think and trust that ECCI can get the all important CONTRACTS to allow ECCI to hire full time employees to benefit the community there!
It is show time! Shorts, you had better be careful. The longs have already been slaughtered. You are next IMHO
