Bible believing Christians will never accept homosexual marriage as legitimate, although if enacted, they will respect it as the law of the land in which they live but reject it as applying in any way to themselves. It would not matter if the Republicans fully embraced the concept of homosexual marriage or not, it will never be accepted by Bible believing Christians.

Bible believing Christians are more and more being marginalized in our society, though, so for your purposes it will not matter.
