I think many of the tea party people attended the rallies for reasons other than hating Obama.

I agree but I think the point Jeanene was attempting to make is that the fringe element who have taken over the repub party are racist to the core. These are the exact same people who attended the Palin rallies and insisted that Obama is a Muslim and pals around with terrorists.

Apparently you see it differently and that's okay by me.
