not to dig too deeply, but i think a lot of the teabag stuff isn't so neatly pigeon-holed in the GOP mail slot.

a liberal can be dismayed at the looting of the treasury by the bushites and the large banks, and be less than totally satisfied with the bail-out mentality.

Obama is doing pretty well, given the multiple pressures, but the backlash is against the whole washington crowd that seems to have so much inertia that even obama will not be able to change it. Term limits might be a start at change, but then it would be machines that put interchangeable puppets in. Somehow big money and the re-elective certainties need to be cleaved.
