They’re baaack! The penetration of drug-eluting stents in US PCI procedures is up sharply from a year ago and is almost back to the peak levels circa 2006.

JNJ said on today’s CC that US DES penetration was 74%; ABT—now the market leader—recently stated it was in the mid 70’s. This is up from the low 60’s a year ago.
