"I'm stunned..." - Are you really? Anything 44 does will be criticized by the neocons.
So far, France and the USA are the only countries willing to take decisive action against these "pirates". Latest news is another ship (Greece flag, I believe) was seized last night - proving to me these "pirates" are not the rag-tag gang as originally portrayed; having the ability to successfully strike at night shows they are a sophisticated, well-organized enterprise.

You don't want revenge to be too expensive, even if it's emotionally
satisfying.
