Swartz quits board of Seaway Valley
MONDAY, APRIL 6, 2009

Christopher M. Swartz resigned Friday from his position as a member of the Seaway Valley Capital Corp. board of directors.

Mr. Swartz, Watertown, also resigned as the company's vice president and chief operating officer, according to a company filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

His resignation leaves Thomas W. Scozzafava, Seaway Valley's chief executive officer, as the company's lone director.

Mr. Swartz was president and CEO of North Country Hospitality Inc., which merged with Seaway Valley in April 2008. At the time, North Country Hospitality operated the Sackets Harbor Brewing Co., Sackets Harbor Brew Pub, Sackets Cantina and Good Fellos Brick Oven Pizza and Wine Bar, all in Sackets Harbor; Alteri's Bakery, Watertown, and five franchise locations of Jreck Subs.
