PHOENIX, March 23, 2009 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Mesa Air Group Inc., (Nasdaq: MESA) today announced the termination of its code share agreement with Hawaii based Mokulele Airlines. Mesa elected to accelerate its previously announced termination date, as permitted under the terms of the Code Share Agreement, following Mokulele's announcement that it had replaced its Chief Executive Officer. go! Express passengers traveling on or after March 25, 2009 will be seamlessly re-accommodated on flights operated by Hawaii Island Air Inc., dba Island Air, which operates a fleet of 37-seat, twin engine turbo-props on inter-island flights.

Mesa Air Group Chairman and CEO, Jonathan Ornstein said, "go! Express passengers will now be flown in greater comfort on Island Air's larger, pressurized twin engine aircraft." Mr. Ornstein added, "In the coming days we expect to begin offering our customers an even greater choice of inter-island routes as part of our new code share agreement with Island Air."
Mesa currently operates 151 aircraft with over 800 daily system departures to 119 cities, 36 states, the District of Columbia, Canada and Mexico. Mesa operates as Delta Connection, US Airways Express and United Express under contractual agreements with Delta Air Lines, US Airways and United Airlines, respectively, and independently as Mesa Airlines and go!. In June 2006 Mesa launched inter-island Hawaiian service as go! This operation links Honolulu to the neighbor island airports of Hilo, Kahului, Kona and Lihue. Mar 26, 2009 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Mesa Air Group has signed a code share agreement with Hawaii Island Air, doing business as Island Air.
Under the agreement, Mesa's independent Hawai'i operation, doing business as go!, will begin marketing services to be flown by Island Air between Kahului, Maui and Hilo, the Big Island and Lihu'e, Kaua'i; Honolulu and Kapalua, Maui; Honolulu and Lana'i; Honolulu and Moloka'i; Kahului, and Kona, the Big Island and between Kahului and Moloka'i.
