Ive heard the natural gas situation is approaching its peak also.. Ive never heard we have a 250 year supply.. I just attended a peak oil meeting for our neighborhood given by a rep of our states dept of energy.. it was fairly grim... high prices soon to be back in the picture and for good.. most people don't have a clue... our presence in the middle east is 99% about national security, national security related to ensuring access to energy... isn't it amazing how the oil/energy companies chose war over investing in new technologies over the last 30 years.. if their kids had to fight those wars, I wonder how much further ahead we'd be in new energy technologies...
