My guess is they are 4-sided versions of these deployment frames. Notice the one to the rear has a "larger figure 8 wrap" so if they wrap each of the 4 sides with a figure 8 that winds around the perimeter of the 4 cans and crosses in the center 9of each side), they get more yards of lead per lift.
Since the lift to the bottom is a LONG way (couple of MILES), it saves time, and time is $$$.
