Yup. It's nice that VBDG sold out of products at many retail stores that were on the shelves, but it's a shame that they sold out at the same time because it means they could have sold more. Could be the retailer under-ordering, but whatever the reason you are correct that sales weren't maximized, and VBDG didn't stockpile inventory to be ready in case that happens perhaps due to lack of cash they only supply what they know they can sell or what is actually ordered.
A bigger company like Telebrands with more capital would be able to stockpile inventory more easily, perhaps, and increase the sales & profits if they were to buy out VBDG. I keep bringing up Telebrands because they seem like the most likely buyer since they've spent a lot of time across the media bragging about how successful they've been lately AND they virtually all of their product lines from outside sources. Telebrands products are frequently located next to or near VBDG products. Would make sense to elimiate a competitor, combine forces, cut costs, increase efficiences, and expand Telebrands reach into sales channels that VBDG currently has including Wal-mart which don't forget actually came to VBDG to have them develop MyPlace for them originally.
