You are right, there is no rule at this time. Judging by the NASD Rep's comments, I suspect some will be coming, but who knows. The rules do not seem to me to have been thought out very well in the first place.

I know there is the tax advantage argument for using retirement accounts to day trade, but personally I don't think it is a good idea to day trade using retirement accounts and would recommend against doing so due to the inherent risk!
