I think I prefer "maximum acceptable loss" instead of "risk of ruin". However, I think the other side of this example is a bit of a stretch. Trading is a numbers game to be sure, but if anyone has found a way to take a net positive gain out of the markets, and has proven it mathematically over time, I'm all ears.

If the win rate drops significantly, it becomes a bit harder to make money.
