I took a brief look at Curd's background and since Genentech I see: Vaxgen: failed Novacea: failed Maxygen Vaccines: failed Threshold: ? Not saying i have any idea if the failures were his fault or implying threshold will bomb too, but just because he was at Genentech when they had success is no validation for what he's doing since.
