Absolutely.

First he wasn't sick. Then suddenly he has surgery. Then we find out he had surgery for a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumour. Then 2.5-3 years after surgery he looks gaunt with obvious weight loss, which as you know is a side effect for many cancer patients. Now he's not even coming to work because he has a hormone deficiency? Is that a deficiency of insulin action because islet cell tumours secrete glucagon, which can cause weight loss when its actions aren't balanced by insulin?
