Wow he received death threats but has no proof of where they came from. He covers a murder of a shock jock and yet again has no proof. I would call that assumptive reporting.

"The assistant chief in charge of the initial high-profile investigation wasn’t pleased with my criticism of how his team had handled things. Or how they had claimed it could have been anybody since Berg had a lot of enemies because of the way he treated people on the air."

So in fact, his threats could have been from members of law enforcement who took it personal to their department!
