AD/drug side effects:

On the surface your argument sounds reasonable but I disagree with it on a couple counts. First I don't think most older cancer patients will get heavy chemo regiments much less under go stem/bone cell transplant. Second AD patients are hard to manage as is. Side effects would lead to added agitation and compliance problems (I think even diarrhea causes compliance issues) so what will this drug do add rash and a potential risk of serious AE (QT prolongation, bowel obstruction, etc.).

If the drug reverse or halts the course of the disease I think the side effects may be sellable but if it only slows progression I don't think I would want people I know taking it unless they come out with a safer lower dose.
