In my opinion the energy policy of the current administration, as well as the previous ones, is a total boondoggle. We have solutions available but for reasons that were dubious 40 years ago we refuse to use it. It's called nuclear power but instead we use the most filthy alternative imaginable which dumps far more radiation into the atmosphere than all nuclear accidents and nuclear testing combined, generated billions of tons of greenhouse gasses and kills 10's of thousands of people each year from lung disease. Insanity gone amuck.
