Most interesting couple of weeks.

The thugs in Israel directly threatening the Iranians and indirectly threatening thugs in Moscow. Moscow looks to be getting ready to make a move that might cut the railway system in Georgia in half at the same time they are telling the U.S. we need to respect their ”goals” in former Soviet Bloc countries. I am not sure when Georgia came under control of the thugs in Moscow but I do believe that the railway system, electrical system and defense manufacturing plants were built by the Soviets. Gee I wonder if there are any Soviet style panel buildings in Georgia? If Moscow designed and built all these things it won’t take long at all to have them running and working for whatever goals they have in mind in the region. Spare parts for the electrical system, railway system etc. are most likely still being made today in Russia.

How many more countries after Georgia would Moscow have to take to have the Southern part of the Caspian Sea land locked? What other Railway systems will reach Baku if Moscow takes the line that runs through Georgia?

American ambassadors in Mexico are having a hard time. Small Latin American countries like Bolivia seem to think it is time to show direct support for Iraq and at the same time point out that Bechtel ( which has contracts in Iraq ) wants to take away the water supply from Bolivians. Banking crisis in Russia….

Meanwhile here at home the attention span of the public is so short that Dean can accuse Nader of ”rearranging the furniture as the house is burning down” ignoring the Looooong developmental bipartisan history that went into creating this fine day. Not many people notice the idiocy if such a statement. We are at the end of an era that started with the Marshall plan. A bipartisan symphony of events like Clinton's signing the 1996 telecommunications act and people like clear channel using it to create a wave of war hysteria to the Bushies benefit has been the constant undertow of this era.

BTW who has control of the nuclear missiles in Ukraine? The Ukrainian thugs? Or Putin? Or Huey P. Long?
