There are certain things I cannot contractually discuss or I would find myself in trouble. And I'm not going to do that for anyone, especially for some faceless, nameless entity on a message board.
Suffice it to say that I was involved in hardware security at a high level. I know the players I know where they are coming from.
I also know intimately the hurdles which must be overcome to achieve "ubiquity" both from a technical and a political perspective.
And I retired in 1998, quite a while before June 2003. And I have stayed VERY current in the space since then.
And if you deem this "insubstantial", that is your perogative.
My opinion is at least as well founded (if not a whole lot more) as your's. After all, the "Who are you" question can cut both ways.
