Bruce Barclay provided some additional information regarding Surmodic’s involvement in the drug eluting stent market at the Feb 2, 2009 annual meeting. In particular, he stated:

“Today we have licensed our technology to 12 different companies, some on multiple products, and we have royalty rates better than Cypher in most cases.”

Eleven companies were listed on slide 21 of the presentation. I have bolded these in the list below (Cordis and Conor were listed separately).
