Keep in mind Insmed had a complex biologic of its own and subsequent highly advanced purification train. Plus their lead drug iplex (igf1-igf1bp3) was unsuccessfully attempted to produce by giants such as Genentech… as a result that purification could be combined with standard production methods in creating very good comparable biogenerics with high levels of purity. GTCB on the other hand is likely to have variations in the produced compound due to the transgenic production method and this adds risk to any biogeneric aim. I.e. less (a damn lot less) likely to see investment at this stage into that.

Am I correct in saying that you agree with my commentary in #msg-35607082? It sounds as though we’re on the same wavelength.
