Then the next step for you is to find a reason for saying that paying someone to chase after a mouse is less desirable than paying someone unemployment compensation to stay home ?

I have no such obligation. I simply pointed out that saving a mouse does not seem like the kind of activity that should have been included in a plan to stimulate the economy. Perhaps it could have been part of another bill at a later time covering general conservation matters. I think the point is obvious and needn't be dissected. It was pork rammed into this bill because everyone was in a hurry to pass it. There is no doubt lots more pork in there as well. All I'm doing is pointing it out. It's an opinion that needs no defense.
