Does anybody know Daniel Mudd's political affiliations..he was the CEO of Fannie Mae after Franklin Raines was forced to step down and it was Mudd who started buying these investement vehicles filled with high risk sub-prime ARM loans with great momentum, from the investment banks...Mudd was forced to step down in the fall of 2008 after the foreclosure crisis started..

i found one sight that suggested he donated heavily to republican candidates, but i dont trust the data sources.. doesn anybody have any info on his political affiliations...? was he left or right leaning or a hack for one or the other..?
