Hop-on Receives FCC Grant for HOP1800

IRVINE, CA, Feb 17, 2009 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Hop-on (PINKSHEETS: HPNN) announced today that their HOP1800 phone was issued a Grant of Equipment Authorization by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) (www.fcc.gov).
"By using the best testing lab available, we guarantee our future in new technology," stated Peter Michaels, President and CEO of Hop-on. "Bay Area Compliance Laboratories Corp. (BACL) (www.baclcorp.com) is one of the leading independent testing and certification facilities providing services for Regulatory Compliance Testing and Product Certifications. With over 12 years of experience servicing the needs of worldwide product manufacturers, BACL was able to achieve the regulatory compliance requirements quickly, efficiently and competitively for Hop-on."

The HOP1800 is a Dual Band 850/1900 MHz or 900/1800 MHz with AMR. It has clear sound, technology components including a flashlight, and a design comparable to any mid-tier cell phone on the market for a fraction of the cost. The HOP1800 is just one of Hop-on's 1800 Series phones that were introduced this past year.

Peter Michaels, further stated, "This is the fourth approval for Hop-on from the FCC. We are extremely proud of our accomplishments and believe that the consumer will benefit from the disposable, low-cost phone that simply makes and receives calls. This is a recession proof purchase. Our economic times call for easy and affordable solutions for all. Since our introduction of the phone last year, we have received an unprecedented demand. Now we are ready for mass productions. Carriers abroad beware, 'Cheapest $10 GSM phone in the entire world!' This will open up mass channels of distribution now."

Hop-on CEO, Peter Michaels, is currently traveling abroad to take advantage of these opportunities. The public, not the carriers are demanding high quality, low cost, reliable, American-backed, proven technology. At the end of the day, people are looking for a new solution, a new company, a new alternative.
