In the late 1980s, the "Morton Downey, Jr. Show" invited Eustace Mullins, author of Secret of the Federal Reserve and myself to speak about the Fed on the air.
I declined and Eustace accepted.
About a month later, major sponsors pulled their backing and the show was cancelled.
I recall reading an article in which Downey lamented that he could not understand why his life had suddenly taken such a downturn..
