If you have found your way to this website it is most likely the result of your receiving a referral to investigate opportunities that may exist with COPsync. It is extremely important to me that when you leave this site that you are armed with information. I want you to know and understand the deficiencies that plague our nation's Law Enforcement officers. If you understand how weak our system is and how easy it is going to be to fix the problem, I believe the rest of your choices will be easy.
The most important thing for you to understand at this point is our nation's Law Enforcement Community is a profession working without the tools that they need to adequately solve crimes much less stop them while they are in the process of occurring. How can we expect officers on the street to stop criminal activity in progress, when it is in the process of occurring in their neighboring communities they have no knowledge of the criminal activity in progress? How can we expect our investigators to properly investigate and interrogate suspects when they are unaware that data exist in other departments that may provide clues or insight to a suspect's behavior or motives? Simply, the problem is our nations Law Enforcement community does not share information.
Please don't be mislead into thinking that these deficiencies evolved into the Law Enforcement community as a result of policy or mismanagement. It is actually quite the opposite. This is not the result of having leaders that lacked vision, creativity and the ability to adapt to change. My direct experience has shown me that the problems that we are faced with today are a byproduct of a lack of technology. To explain, as law enforcement officers perform their duties they write reports and collect vast amounts of information. The technology necessary to catalog and share that information such as vehicle rugged computers with data storage capabilities large enough to process large and complex reports, wireless connectivity and in-car printing capabilities did not exist until a few short years ago.
The COPsync vision was started 6-years ago with the forethought and understanding that this was going to be a huge undertaking. Technology that has the ability to immediately stop a child abduction in progress, alert officers to dangers prior to them performing their duties, assist Law Enforcement in dealing with family violence, provide additional patrol hours to the officer by saving time on paperwork, give an investigator access to data to link suspects and solve crimes, and to assist our officers in becoming a better servant to the community to whom they are responsible. If you are a current shareholder in COPsync, Inc. I want to personally thank you for your vision, courage, strength, and trust that you have placed with us. If you are a potential investor starting the due diligence process of your investment decision I want you to know that we will continue our focus of providing information sharing to this nations Law Enforcement community without straying from the goals we have embraced since day-one of our founding. Without investment capital no project will see success. One day in the future this nation will be the first to link its Law Enforcement community to a common data collection and information sharing solution. Your participation cannot be understated. Respectfully stated, I feel that it is each of our responsibilities to push for the adaptation of change. This is unlike any other type of Technology on the market. This technology will save lives and prevent criminals from taking advantage of us as a result of deficiencies in the system.
