New IDIX director: NVS has designated Steven Projan, Ph.D, to be one of the two IDIX directors appointed by NVS, replacing Emmanuel Puginier. Projan is the head of NVS’ R&D team in infectious diseases, which is obviously a good fit with IDIX’s clinical objectives in HCV.

The two directors appointed by NVS do not receive any compensation from IDIX.
