Are you talking in-patient or out-patient? My current pharmacy is a closed door, out-patient pharmacy owned by the non-profit hospital. It is the perfect example of the success of the model.
I was talking about your kind of set-up; however, if there are restrictions re in-patient vs out-patient or for-profit-parent-organization vs not-for-profit-parent-organization, I’d like to know about that too. How many of these closed pharmacies who order their own drugs at a steep discount are there? Is this model just gaining traction, or has it been around for a while?
