As far as gold goes: I'm looking for 5 waves up from 382.50 to complete what I think will be a B wave. I think we can count on the 5 waves up from 382.50. If we fail to take out the highs as I expect and according to a triangle count we will fail, we will have people saying we have a "triple top" on gold just as we had with the "double top". A "cause" for gold bearishness. If we believe the gold cartel can keep gold suppressed for umpteen years, surely they can suppress it into the US election (unless of course, they don't want to and they support Kerry). On the other hand, I suppose if a financial or terrorist event occurs, gold could run to at least the 450-480 area which everyone seems to be predicting (in this case it may become self-fullfilling).
