Is this one of those regions that would love to be a part of Russia? It never ceases to amaze me the varied responses I get when I ask Ukrainians if they were better off under the Soviets. Scientists say they were much better off under the Soviets and would love be under Putins control than under the control of the thugs in Kiev.
