I guess my point is that the pipeline consists of a large number of compounds that are partnered with several major drug companies. That doesn't guarantee success of course but the fact that they were able to attract several large pharmaceutical companies and a large biotech (Celgene) has to add some degree of validity. LGND obviously agreed and that's why the merger was proposed and ultimately consummated.
