We armed Saddam, then took him out 15 years after he gassed his own people,
and 13 years after he invaded his neighbors.

In fact, Rummie and HW snuggled up to Saddam, touting him as an ally and trading partner,
AFTER he gassed his own people but before he invaded Kuwait.

The similarities are uncanny. History repeats.

We have a history of supporting despotic and terrorist regimes in the region, like Osama and the Taliban.
Then we take them out, and wonder why they hate us.
