If Gene introduced more shares into the OS (from the AS), he either sold them (at current prices) or he entered them into the OS a different way (as restricted shares).

In either case, the OS would increase. In either case, we know factually that he has used restricted shares to acquire other companies and form partnerships and joint ventures.

In the first case (Gene dumping), he would make very little money (when you add it up over the past few months) and dilute the value of restricted shares he used to purchase other companies, thus creating very advesarial relations with his partners...a quick and sure way to kill your partnership.

In the second case, that would mean he didn't sell the shares, they didn't enter into the float, and thus that means that what is trading are Naked shares, right?
