Actually you both got it wrong :)
VISX changed its symbol to EYE then it was bought out by Advanced Medical Optics (I forget their prior symbol) who took the EYE sysmbol (but I don't think that is why they bought them out
) and now ABT is buying out Advanced Medical Optics.
